Freshly Brewed, Episode 65: New Mercies Every Morning

Year of Mercy Header 1.jpg

In explaining the significance of Ash Wednesday, Father Mike Schmitz explained, “The ashes mean I am a sinner but the cross means that I have a savior.” Father goes on to say, though we live in a fallen world and our hearts are not always as they should be, we have a God who loves us so much He chose to suffer and die for us so that we may live with Him in Heaven for all of eternity.

In this episode of Freshly Brewed, Topher sits down with Father Chris Gernetzke and the two discuss why we need Reconciliation and what happens internally and externally in confession! This a truly enlightening pod that dives into the heart of justice and mercy and ultimately the love of our Father in Heaven! Follow the link below to hear more!
